My first week

Hello, I'm french and my name is Aurélien. I'll try to write in English so that all could read my blog.  I spend this year in Argentina to learn the language, discover the country and get to know the culture. My trip started on the 7th of October!!!

After a very long journey (30 hours) I had a warm-hearted reception with a standing ovation in the airport.
I was received as "a star" by Carolina (Mexican) Clari, Gonzalo (Argentina) Svea (Germany) Helene (Austria) Walter and Andres (Two men of the rotary club of Catamarca).

 I met my new family on Thursday. My mother is called Gloria and my father's name is Mario. I still have no photos but they will follow next week. I live in a big house in Catamarca, it is very nice. I already adapted myself to the time difference. ;)

 

On Sunday evening, I went to my first party "fiesta". I have a single word to describe it, it was enormous. Everybody danced and the atmosphere was great !!!

 

On Monday was a non-business day to celebrate the different culturs. I visited a site archeology where incas lived. Then we visited Bélen. In this city there is a very beautiful church.

 On Tuesday was a special day because it was my first day in college!!! All the pupils in my class are friendly and it was a great day!! For example when a professor goes into the class, they sing me a music of welcome. The level in mathematical, physical chemistry and biology are the same that in first class in France.  There is a total disorientation compared with France. In the morning I go to the high school with a big smile;)  There is class there that in the morning what allows to make activities afternoon.

 I finished for this week. Obviously I don't tell everything because too much thing has there to be said. I try to make an article every week.
